Fire! It evokes memories of bonfires where, as a child, I relished eating marshmallows, hot dogs, and more. The atmosphere that reigned was one of peace, harmony, and communion with each other. I always have been fascinated by the colors that emerges from the flames of a fire: the different reds, yellows, oranges, and whites. It doesn’t matter how big or how small the fire, there is always this contrast of light and dark. The Fuego painting not only reminds me of past experiences but it voices my passion for painting and my pleasure of creating a unique piece that I can offer to the viewer.
