Meditations is all about the journey and struggle within our souls. This piece took many twists and turns along the way. There were times we were not on speaking terms. I was unable to discern the direction it needed to go. Only when I sat in quiet, laid down my expectations, and surrendered did I begin to see where it wanted to go.
Meditations is a journey of a lifetime; energy, passion, struggles, mistakes, sadness, and joy, all rolled into one painting. A painting that in the end brought so much peace. When we are still and lay down our expectations that is when the most beautiful things start to appear.
