Nature provides us with an abundance of color, variety, and eye appeal. As an artist, my brushes and I work as a team to translate that joyful glory into abstract images.
While creating this particular painting, my mind refused to transform my thoughts into pure colors. However, my brush repeated floral shapes as we worked the canvas. Initially, I rejected them and we painted many layers over them. The background reflects all those interactions between my brush, me, and the paint.
The result is a richly textured background full of intermingled colors and shades. A perfect backdrop for a variety of abstracted flowers. Their shapes are food for your imagination. Their rich colors are candy for your eyes. Linger for a moment and enjoy the joy and peace this painting offers you.
