When I make art, I get to know myself better, nothing else does that (at the moment). As long as that keeps happening I feel like I'm making progress. When I show my work, it's a whole different thing. It’s not about my needs any more but about what some people see or learn about themselves.

Art is a little bit like heavy underpants, you're constantly aware it's next to your most intimate thoughts.
